today i went to the library, yes.
alone.
off i picked up a book from the shelf named
'EQ, the basic foundation of Emotional Quotient'
there, i strolled down the path towards self-discovery and
i realise many dimensions of myself which i never knew in the past.
basically, the not-so-good side of YC surfaced before me.
i have to admit i'm a hot-headed person who can be manipulative sometimes..
arghhhh thanks to the fact that im an idealist, utopianist.
who always portray a flawless portrait, as if we're living in the Garden of Eden!?
and in the end? im tend to be the one who gets lets down.
Its inevitable and i'll have to accept that..
we're not perfect.
i tend to speak off my mind rashly,
in an aggressive tone that'll hurt the ones closest to me.
but self-awareness has propelled me to shoulder the personal responsibility for me to become a better, tolerant person.
in the past, like what angie said,
i didnt even think there WAS a problem.
which explains why some people hated me initially! (HOR, zhiwei and angie? =P)
perhaps, that's self-denial which i thought can retain the happiness within me.
afterall, we're human beings who have our blind spots, our Achilles heels we aren't aware about
and we do need a couple of genuine friends who can
peacefully, honestly, point out where exactly you have gone wrong.
the truth can be hurtful at times BUT please don't get too affected..
those are the words you'd seldom hear which may aid you in maturing internally.
I have to constantly remind myself that
'It's not what you say that counts, it's how you say it.'
But still, only YOU, can change yourself and that's called personal responsibility.
If you think you can, you will.

as u all know, A lvls has officially ended for majority le :DD
Happy ONE :
Not long ago, we had this IMPROMPTU primary-school gathering
comprising of Joy, Elaine, OST and me!
seowting is still so joLLy & funny
i think i can even hear her laughter resonating in my brain now
wAHAHAH.
US, despite being 'separated' for ages
didnt seem to drift very far from one another.
this is something rather gladdening :) heee haha
we were literally luffing our heads and hair off in town,
like 4 maddyssss..
chatting about da good ol'days :

Days of Notorious Joycelyn
And alot alot alot la!
as we were touring Far East Plaza,
miraculously i bumped into Meixin, Yanhong and Yukai!!

it was too much of a coincidence, isnt it?
to think we can meet at the same time, same place, same frequency.
Fate, i call it =p
well to me, they're really amiable and fun-to-be-with people
that i NEVER regretted befriending in my 2 yrs of college life.
most importantly, its the feeling of sincerity i sense when im with them!
i hope i could know them better!!
and maybe they can even be recruited into my list of forever friends :x

Our occasional Ohana stayover at Maxie's residence.
this time round, da highlights of dis event was basically
Mahjong with sinful chocs, swts, gummies as our stakes
but most importantly,
it was da DRAMATHON- Tang Xin Feng Bao zhi Jia Hao Yue Yuan
dat was praiseworthy!!
my goshhhhh. the show was fantabulous.
it depicted how we human beings, can change for the pursuit of wealth and stuff.
and the price to pay for greed!
oh, we also learnt to speak a little bit of Cantonese
like Mai Yin Wai Lock, Sei Yan Tao.. Kam Yong =X if you understand, that is.
though i dont think it is of any educational value ahahaa.
overall, we really have to admit that it was a FATTENING stayover,
cos we succumbed to those tempting treats!!
Toblerone, Cadbury chocolate, Dove Avericilla, HUGE Muffins, Fruit Plus,
Gummiess, CHEESE-filled pancakes from Mr. Bean, Cheezels, Twisties.. Ohmy.
All- finished during the nights of playing & watching.
*faints in disbelief*
all in all, we were happy and contented souls(or maybe Pigs) at the end of the stayover!

Liberation!

FINALLY, everything ended.
i am freeee to do whatever i like!
one step at a time.
but im feeling very worried for me GP...
which stops me from getting high most of da time.
baaaa.
anyway on a happier note, on da last dae of our exams
somehow somewhat
we had a first-time-ever class outing!!
lets call it S38 Steamboating Session @ Bugis
and the time spent was really brimming with THUNDEROUS laughter and OVERWHELMING JOY! seriously, with all da non-stop juicy gossips and teasings.
wellwell i was rather taken aback when 70% all drank alcohol before lor!
all except Cindia, shangzhi and me.
seeee we so pure de ne hahaha~
dat weiming keep asking me to drink AND i kept rejecting him :)

still we know hes an obliging guy cos most of da time, he volunteered to serve us all!
AND OH, finally i tasted REAL CRAB MEAT for da 1st time in my 17 coming to 18 years of life *hintttt* lol~~ oky lar i know abit unbelievable BUT its true!

Joyful!
say YAY!
its the long-awaited weekend since the school reopened..
finally we get to pamper ourselves in a tiny escapade
from the hustle&bustle of school life.. :)
before the brand new & hectic week commences again!
have a break, have a Kitkat.
:P
hoho
well today i was adhered to unusually high spirits today
nearly laughing, grinning, joking all day!
the feeling is simplyyy fabulous.
i said numerous zesty 'Hellos!' and 'Byebyes!'
all the time plastering a sunnY smile on my face &
waving my hand zealously~
it does have a ripple effect when you see your friend reciprocrating your smile,
genuinely of course!
definitely not those which are well-practised & forced up smiles..
NONONO!
heee.
i do hope such friendly gestures of mine did brighten up their day a little!
i love seeing smileee, happy faces you know.
Joy begets joy!

'Cinderella.'
hi there! it was certainly a happening day for meeee.
1st up, in the morning YY was suppose to meet YC in
JP library.
& he was suppose to reach there BY 113Oam if not,
he shall marry a hairy nun!

sounds FUN.
guess what? dat GOONDU actually went to JE regional liby.

ok, as usual he dis Road Noob didnt quite know how to come
so i was to escort him supposedly.
however just as i stood up and took less than 5 strides
my slipper just 'OVERTURNED'
and i was like stepping its sole for gdness sake.

lord and behold!!!!!!
it just BROKE OFF JUST LIKE THAT?
poor me was momentarily immobilised,
it was just to face-throwing to limp around with a single slper on my feet.
DOTS.
the rescue process.
i wore YY's super duper MEGA ULTRAAAAAA ZULTRA BIG slippers!
seriously i felt like a Yeti, or specifically Big Foot?!
Omgggg really lor.
UGLY was the word..
luckily, when i sprinted downstairs,
Chang Sheng was there, with his slippers which was much more 'suitable'
for me due to its smaller size.
at least i wun look like a dwarf wearing a GIANTS slipper mah!
AWWWW my saviour~~ ^^
and so the day proceeded.
towards the evening we went to JEC for an early bdae celebration for our
YY fishball.
though it was rather rushed and impromptu
it was overall
a final, joyful escapade for LC family before the school starts.
truly hoped that everyone was happy.

Change, for the best of me.
i'm determined
to eliminate this bothersome BAD BAD BAD habit of mine:
late-coming.
initially, i thought there was nothing with it &
i wasn't abit apologetic about turning up late for gatherings!
zhen gai si.
until recently, i realise that i was so wrong, very wrong.
Angie said about Friends being compromising
& instantly, i could feel the spurt of guilt.
i've been
insensitive.
inconsiderate.
idiotic.
whatever you name it, i've got it :(
it isn't a nice feeling..
yet theres still a family of friends who cares about me,
who wants me to change for the better.
maybe i don't deserve it at all!
i'm sorry.
as for today, 8 regular LCiees went to Causeway Point for family dinner :)
it was at Swensens!~
well, maxie called it some Dessert Appreciation session
yumx.
we all had our veryvery own sweetilicious banana splitSSS!
but i still think it'll taste even swter when you share.
it seems to appear more precious than before :p
all thanks to Maxie cos he had some Buy 1 Get 1 FREE sundae voucher :D
its definitely a steeeal lor..

SPRING KLEENING!
YES BABY!!!
finally ive murdered the spirit of Procrastination in me!
*pants heavily* lol oppsy.
all thanks to my naggish SISTAAAAAAA,
who was just like a sickening mosquito
buzzing around my ear.
- . -
AND SO, we embarked on the journey of Spring Cleaning!
i think i've literally scaled mountains after mountains of notes/assignments/tutorials
which was kinda greyish-looking & DUSTY.
eeeeeeeew yucks.
you can imagine how long i've not been organizing me stuff.
years? decades? centuries? or even a milennium?!
i thought i'd contract asthma due to those overwhelming dust particles flying in the air.
the dust & dirt was crashing down upon me!!!
i rmb seeing 1 grey snowball of 'COTTON' sitting disgustingly in the dustpan lor~!!
0mG! shd have taken a foto of it.

The winner of this year's Top Disorganizer Title goes to..

gladfully, i've got an awesome buddy
whos just the direct opposite of me,
ANGIE.
& this time round, she was 1 pivotal factor who contributed to my shift in mindset
cos she is ALWAYS, ahem, ultra organized.
[im feeling shameful alrdy as i type those words.. :( ]
possibly.. thats how the law of ' Opposites ATTRACT ' works!
well in this case, its the attraction of 2 stark personalities i guess.
anyway im really proud having such an inspiring friend beside me :]
& im really proud of meself cos this to me, is really a victorious accomplishment!
hehehee.. :D
on a side note, da finale of War of the In-laws was superbbb!
hahaa wo xi huan!~ it was sooo ticklish.
everyone loves watching happy endings, i guess.
somehow, we derive tinges of happiness for our souls in the end

But anyway, we were there for a meaningful purpose..

TO CELEBRATE TSUHUI`s belated birthday!

i've always believed that ultimately,
its the THOUGHT that really counts.
not any other else.
ie. how EX ur gifts are,
how BIG ur cake is,
how MANY ppl celebrated for you.
all these to me, are rather superficial.
whats the point if you do not have close/ genuine friends, who care about your well-being,
by your side celebrating such a significant day in your life?
Life would be meaningless and worthless de...
Birthdays are definitely worthy of joyous celebrations!
a time to enjoy little tete-a-tete sessions to connect with each other after sucha loooong time,
as well as serving as a getaway from the hustle and bustle of schoolife, i suppose.
it just feels great to be able to hang out with friendzy friends :D

we kinda gaigai-ed along Orchard and then Max suggested watching Zhiwei & Felfel in action- TAEKWONDO at Toa Pa YO ah yo.

we were rather taken back by maxies HIGH-ness seriously. =O
you know, the number of times you can see him outside in a year,

but still, i feel dat it'll be good for us to bask in the warmness of the Sun regularly!

we decided to have 'Night-Jog' cos Lizzy & Felly was alr late.
and so, we ran with our bulging bellies - . -
or rather just maxie and me.

I was saying ltr we runrunrun den 'BANG!' get knocked down by car.
