It certainly was a happening day for me!!
Elainey and Joy @ the Soup Spoon in the afternoon.
Yum! We lapped down the tasty soup happily and had a really long chat.. :)
Then was Churchy with Felfel, Zhiwei and Maxie.
I must say it was really an eye-opener
And we met some peeps: Rachel, Yuzhen and Maggie.
They're rather amiable people!

And that evening,
A one-hundred-year-old secret was revealed... :X

It was girls' night out today! And i felt happy. Very very.
Thats why i cracked my brain (Yay i have one)
and thought of this nickname for us because i really felt it!

Somehow, i begin to love talking to granny.
And i realise she's aged.. by alot.
She is much thinner than before, and her hair turned all snowy white,
the deepening wrinkles on her countenance.
Her stamina has also declined as the years go by..
Worse of all, she's prone to falls which i am really afraid of.
:(

Me in the past, will never help her buy any groceries for fear of looking like an auntie.
But now, im starting to love shopping at the supermarket by myself.
(Just like Lian~)
Carrying those NTUC aka Auntie-You-See plastic bags
isnt a nightmare for me anymore!

Maybe because of my granny?

But tonight's the first time i've massaged her aching legs.
Wah. She even praised me for helping her to ease the pain a little..!
I know im a noob lo.. hahha.

Dont know why, this random thought just floated to me.

we were rather tickled by the show
and i bet bet bet that Max Lim will LOVE it.. sooo many kinky jokes lo. =p
The lead actor expressed his love in a really eye-opening way.
Furiously he said, "I've fallen in love with a psycho like you!"
lolll.. Just imagine that.
No wonder Abby, the lead actress only caught the word 'Psycho' and got so mad.

Shouldnt he say those words with love? Made me understand that..
Its not what you say, but how you say it that matters.

ooh. i do enjoy those dumb and mindless teasings, (like always?)
those insightful conversations about our daily lives, future.. dreams and such! :)

thats what i call true communication ba! not just superficial words of exchange~
sometimes i feel that its good to have individual dates.
you can possibly get to see another facet of your friend~~
or hear some thoughts or views usually left unsaid due to unseen circumstances :P
somehow it'll increase the proximity between you and your friend de! hahaha.

Was the day Ying Peng left for UK..
I felt a jerk of tear when i saw Tsu Hui and YP
hugging each other with their watery eyes.. bidding goodbye.
true friendship, it is.


then over to Maxie's where Zhiwei and i had a h.t.h chat.. :)
Friendship, Love, Ohana, Religion were some i can remember.
We also watched some rather touching videos...
And we shared our thoughts on manymany things! Just the two of us.


amazingly, we chatted for hours if im not mistaken.
this is when you can freely share your feelings
with somebody endeared to you.
and tada, you get to understand one another at a deeper level..
i'd like a friendship that runs as deep as an ocean =)
and not as shallow as a little lake.

At the mention of 'babies', what actually comes into your mind?
Cute? Innocent? You just wanna pinch their oh-so-kawaii-neh chubby cheeks?




wahhahhaa.
babies are supery dupery fun to play with~ :D
but babysitting? NO!


i had a chance to do so... Wenbin and Wenxuan.
Early in the morning, YC had to crawl out of her cozy warm bed,
went to their house and started my Babysitting Mission!
Basically, i just felt like a maid doing some mundane chores...
put the water to boil, made Milo, vacuumed the house, brought them to the library
treated them to ice-cream (WEEE!) The list goes on.......
*yawnnn*


But there were some simple things we did
that made me sink into reminiscence..!
When i brought them to the playground,
i could see the children wearing their best smiles on their faces.
every child loves to play!
sigh so sad. i wished i could play together with them..
Why isnt there a playground for teenagers like us?!?!
Unfair!


gliding down the slides, playing the see-saw, or sit in a swing
going round and round and round in a merry-go-round~
i'd always lose one of my sandals everytime i visited the playground
- . - Wonder who's that stinky shoe stealer! Dont lemme catch euu.
and there was once, i accidentally somersaulted down the slide!!
head over heels lehhhh.
OmgOmg. it was a terrifying experience for a child like me then :S


then, it was watching cartoons!
when i was in primary school, i'd always hog on the TV set after school &
during weekends, sissy and me will get even more excited!!
Digimon, Doraemon, Pokemon, Akazukin Chaha, Teletubbies blahblahblah..


i could still remember that
my grandfather always prepared my favourite scrambled egg and bacon.
for dinner, he would prepare special dishes for us while he himself,
will just make do with simple bland ones like vegetables or beansprouts..
He only gives me the best.
Also he'll ensure that the fridge will always be chocked full of chocolates and sweets.
thinking about this.. the fridge now is as empty as can be.
But its consoling enough just to know he really loves us a whole lot.
im sure there's someone like him in your life too, right? :)


p.s. i miss those days.
And i miss grandpa.

28 September 2009- KITE FLYING EVENT AT West Coast Park



Probably my happiest day so far.

In the morning, met bff for breakfast for some h.t.h chatters.
awww.. she shared with me some blissful updates of her new found love.
i just like it when we connect :p
After which we set off we to wcp for the highly anticipated event!!
i thought kite flying will be an
easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy, chicken-feety affair for everyone.
all you have to do.... is to launch the kite into the sky..!

you wish ah. its really not that simple!
we have to get hold of the correct wind direction and angle before we can do that,
which was quite a back-breaking BUT crazily fun and happy process we went through.

meanwhile.. i realise that
Singaporeans can actually be quite warm and helpful.

Imagine 4 blonde girls trying to fly the kite... TWO WORDS:
Mission Impossible.
Seeing us in lodged in such a tragical situation,
some people actually came forward to help us voluntarily!

One kind man explained to us why the kite cant fly
One kind man told us offered to hold the kite up high so we can launch it correctly
One kind man attached a small little tail for our little kite
One kind man repaired our kite for us
Really grateful to the four kind men, man!

and finally....
The kite was flying in the sky!
Fly kite fly~ so freely in the blue blue sky.
if we were to get it right the first time..
i dont think we can feel such an outburst of joy at the end!
its often only after we experienced the initial struggle
can we truly taste the sweet fruit of success.

And in the evening, my sis was really nice to me!
she brought home my favy creampuffs and ondeh ondeh.
weeeeeeee. what's there not to be happy about?
you tell me!

And so my day was made...
with Angie, Zhiwei, Felicia and my Sissy! ^^
