On the sunnier side, i actually used Pet Society to teach Chinese today!!

It's to show them what 钓鱼 is like.

Ahhh.. And i've actually wasted 2 homegrown love cherries :(
Cos they were getting too excited & too loud so i bluffed them & said,

"如果你们太吵的话会把鱼给吓走的..."

And then, they all became quiet instantly.
哈哈哈哈~

Sometimes, it pays to be nice i guess.

Perhaps as a contract teacher, i've more free time as compared to the other teachers..

i realise i enjoy helping them run errands, here and there.
i like to help! Somehow it renders me a sense of fulfillment..!
Muahahaha~

From time to time,
i get pretty little cupcakes, delicious full month cakes,
chocolates, souvenirs, sweet treats, yummy snacks, chocolates, biscuits & even ice cream appearing on my table!
and i get to share them with my granny and sissy~ Weee.
Actually i wish i can share with Ohanies too.
But unfortunately, some of the foods are like highly perishable lo.
(So most of them end up in my stomach :P)

& today i just got a lunch treat from a teacher because i relief-ed her class while she was sick.
Plus a kitkat and a pair of cutie figurines from Vietnam!
So nice of my colleagues :D..

Call me a greedy pig,
but such little kind gestures just brightens up my day.

The Wise Sage - Author Unknown.

There once was a wise sage who wandered the countryside. One day, as he passed near a village, he was approached by a woman who told him of a sick child nearby. She beseeched him to help this child.

So the sage came to the village, and a crowd gathered around him, for such a man was a rare sight. One woman brought the sick child to him, and he said a prayer over her.

"Do you really think your prayer will help her, when medicine has failed?" yelled a man from the crowd.

"You know nothing of such things! You are a stupid fool!" said the sage to the man.

The man became very angry with these words and his face grew hot and red. He was about to say something, or perhaps strike out, when the sage walked over to him and said:
"If one word has such power as to make you so angry and hot, may not another have the power to heal?"

And thus, the sage healed two people that day.

Too many things happened this week.

This week is full of friction for me.

My favourite badminton practice was cancelled.
And then i felt emotional all of a sudden.

On a brighter side,
im proud i cleared my Hotmail Inbox, from a hefty sum of 5K plus emails -
to a manageable 100 now,
& i finally did thorough filing in order to be more organised!
A new start for a new week.

Today was my first time meeting parents for the Meet-The-Parents session!
EEEEK. Felt abit nervous initally because it was a really impromptu meeting.
I actually stammered - _ - dot.
But luckily the conversation progressed quite well in the end..

Say yay because it's the March Holidays!!

Today was a fairytale ~

Don't judge.
You can't only love the parts that are easy to like,
but love also the parts that are not-so-perfect.

I think that this is not only applicable in love,
but in kinship and friendship as well.

As you can see, both movies are largely about love.
But i realise that it's actually the little little scenes about kinship
that touched me momentarily and not the lovey dovey parts..
