A perfect picnic

Surely, it was a successful picnic at the sea @ WCP with partial Ohana!
Next time next time next time with Felicia, Guolian anf Zhuang Wei okay :D


Just look at how obliging Ohanies can be:
Zirui brought mango puddings and two tall cartons of fruit juice.
Zhiwei brought grapes and.. LIU LIAN LIU LIAN LIU LIAN~
Max brought raised tofu, exotic frozen veggies with wasabi and chicky..
YY brought the pancakes and ahballings from our dear Mr Bean
Angie and YC made Smiley Crepes and 爱心沙律 hee!
After all the gorging came PLAY-TIME ;D YAY!


First stop:

It was the Pyramid with the fun slides.
To think I only had the courage to climb after 21 years..

Second stop:
An extremely exciting obstacle race between the guys and the girls!!
Wow. It's been nong nong time since we last raced against one another le.
Wahahha. Reminds me of our seconday school days ah :)


Third stop:
After all the adrenaline rush,
We all rested on a really relaxing swing :)
摇啊摇~摇到睡着了。
Even had a captain to cradle us wor heheh.
(But no, I dowan Captain Max please! )


Fourth stop:
Flying Fox!! Waaa~ It was fabulous, my goodness.
You should really try it yourself!

Last stop:
Star-gazing by the sea with serene music.. Love it.
What a perfect way to end the picnic isn't it? Hehe.
We were home at around 2am in the morning. Amazing!


To me, playing as if we were little kids certainly beats clubbing :)

Let's look to the sky.

Apprenhensive me took a leap of faith and participated in this
NUS Appreciating Lives, Initiating Volunteering, Everyday! 10km Run
despite not jogging for like 2-3 years?!! Oh my goodness, what a blonde right?


But here I'm proud to say that, I did it.
Without strolling or stopping at all.
It's really a personal achievement for me!
Whenever there were thoughts of fatigue or negativity like:

"Ohmy still got 5km leh!"
"Wah I feel so tired."
"My legs are giving way!"



I'll immediately eliminate those thoughts and replaced them with positive ones like:
"Oh I'll just get to the tree in front of me!"
"I'll just run to the next shelter!"
"The finishing line is just ahead of me!"


These thoughts, worked wonders for me! Thank god.
Seems like I'm fuelled by short term goals eh?
Ah, I understand myself a little better.


Now it's crystal clear to me that it's not distance that matters, it's my willpower.


Would like to translate this willpower into my life, into the things I do.
Instead of lamenting over the undesired environment or conditions I may encounter,
I hope to overcome it with my willpower, just like how i did it in this marathon,
just like what i see in Max. I take my hat off you man :)

Last Friday, went to Cityhall with Fel & YY to get Tsuhui's present and for YY's 廖老师!
Wheee. Went to Loving Hut for dinner and we bumped into 宝华姐姐~
Friendly lady isn't she? :D Tom's Palette for some extraordinary ice cream.
The ice cream that goes *pop pop* Hehe.. Leme Leme at MRT!!



Last Saturday, was Tsuhui's 21st birthday celebration :)
Feels great to get together once in a while ah.
And i finally saw Jacob and Jayden in real life! So cute so cute so cute ahgugu.
It was extremely thoughtful of Tsuhui and her family to prepare vegetarian food just for me.
Really appreciated that man :') Thankyou thankyou thankyou.
Also thanks thanks Esther Ng for sending me home! Pure kindness.



Last Sunday, we conquered Bukit Timah Hill ;D Cheerios comrades~
Hope more will get under the sun with us! It's healthy and fun to me la.
Mother Nature, she's beautiful. Feels really relaxed in the Her embrace :)
The thought of getting up early to accomplish something,
and left with abundant time to savour the rest of the day bit by bit somehow heartens me.
Wouldn't want to wake up just to realise half of the day is already gone..
What a waste don't you think?

It was Zhuang Wei's simple and sweet 21st birthday celebration at Swensens the other day :)

Then we had Maxie's magnificent 21st birthday celebration.


Before that, had a ktv practice session with Wenhui, YY and Zhen Xiang~

Last Friday:
The Ohana surprise was really extremely successful ah.
Hahahhahhahahahha! Just the thought of it will send me into giggles.
I seriously think this joke will be passed down in the future Ohana generations la ;D
But more importantly, think I've learnt much from Guolian, Zhiwei and Zirui
through the chat we've never had before. Thanks man :) It was nice!

Last Saturday:
Firstly, I'd really like to thank Jingyi for accompanying me
to bring some students for a composition writing competition!!
You've really done me a great big favour bud.
Then we went to Tampines for a rewarding meal~ Heheh.
Thanks for the OiO ah!! :D Then we went jogging at with her family @ Labrador Park!
Indeed exercising makes people happy.

Last Sunday:
Then it was my first time going to the study room after like 3 years? Ohmy.
To my surprise, I saw Zhuang Wei and Jia Hui over there too! lol~
Just fyi, I've started studying the materials for my course
to better prepare for the learning journey ahead.
And all credit goes to my helpful colleague Wenhui,
for searching high and low for her notes and books to help me.
Goodness gracious me, isn't she kind?

Yesterday:
It was Freshness Factor before going to the Mind Cafe with Maggie, Rachel and co.
It was Ladies' Night so it was free for us! Woohoo :D

Today:

I received the official letter of admission into NIE, 25 July 2011.
For a moment like this~~ I'm thankful for the fact that I didn't have to wait for a lifetime.

During Contact Time just now, the principal actually announced to everyone

that I'll be leaving for NIE. I was rather taken aback at the unexpected congratulation!

Subsequently many colleagues congratulated me ah. Felt so honoured :)

Looking forward to my new phase of life this 2011.

Hoping that we'll be classmates! How great will that be?

其实师姐也不错啦 :P
